Willow Wrighten is an avid advocate for environmental justice and conservation coming from Charleston, South Carolina where she loves to enjoy low country beaches as well as swamps.

The first outlet she was able to showcase this at was during her time working at The South Carolina Aquarium, as an intern and mentor, through the HighSchool Internship Program. There, not only was she able to interact with guests educating them on wildlife and waterways of South Carolina, but also worked on conservation projects helping restore low country ecosystems.  

While studying political science at North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University, her love for policy reform and social justice has only begun to bloom. After obtaining her bachelor's degree, it is believed she will go to law school to focus on pursuing environmental law.

As an Ocean Protection Ambassador, it is Willow's hope to have a contribution in making the world environmentally sustainable and increase awareness of the little human impacts that greatly affect the environment.
