Sanjana Bhatta

Sanjana Bhatta is a rising sophomore from Hillsborough, New Jersey.  She started her passion for environmental activism when she was inspired to become vegetarian at 11 years old!  Since then, she has created petitions for issues such as factory farming, has participated in EarthEcho network events, has spoken at the Youth Environmental Summit hosted by Paul Ritter, and has been an active advocate for ocean conservation.  She is excited to explore this opportunity as a Water Challenge Ambassador and do more to assist in protecting the ocean!

When she is not fighting for environmental rights, she participates in many clubs such as her school's podcasting club and Science Olympiad, plays soccer, runs track, volunteers as a tutor, and puts her time into advocating against social justice issues.
