Chloe Wetzler

Chloe Wetzler is a fourth year at the University of Virginia where she is double majoring in Environmental Thought & Practice and Spanish Literature. Chloe grew up in Virginia Beach, spending time in the Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. This is where she first fell in love with the ocean and marine environments. Chloe has served as a Water Challenge Ambassador for the last three years, and is eager to expand her work with EarthEcho International!

Chloe is extremely passionate about marine conservation and hopes to go into environmental policy after graduating. She is particularly interested the effects of climate change and sea level rise on coastal ecosystems and communities. In addition to her work with EarthEcho, Chloe is an undergraduate researcher in a coastal ecology lab at UVA and interned with the Chesapeake Bay Foundation’s Oyster Restoration Team.
