Expedition Fellow: Water By Design
I’ve been in education with the Los Angeles Unified School District for the past 20 years teaching in the schools I attended as a student at Mayberry Street School, Thomas Starr King Environmental STEAM Magnet and John Marshall High School. Currently, I teach 6 th grade History and Marine Biology at King’s Environmental STEAM Magnet where I strive to empower students to advocate for the environment by creating service learning projects that focus on local environmental and sustainability issues. During my leisure time, I enjoy traveling with my family exploring California’s National Parks and beautiful beaches.
