Vic Kovtun

Passionate about chemistry and law, Vic is a sophomore college student based in Maryland, attending UMBC with a Chemistry and Financial Economics B.S. double major. Vic’s interests lie specifically in polymer chemistry, and how to properly integrate plastic solutions into law and the economy. Through a statewide organization known as the Maryland Student Legislature, Vic leads the UMBC delegation as their president, and works together with other peers in order to pass legislation, communicate concerns, and overall familiarize one another with networking in both the state and local communities/governments. Their end goal is to go on to law school with a unique perspective on chemistry, and hopefully bring in better recycling, reusing, and processing methods that would benefit the state, people, and of course, the environment.
