Stella Hong

Stella Hong is a high school junior and passionate environmentalist from Northern Virginia. She is a member of Bow Seat’s Future Blue Youth Council, the president of her school’s environmental club, and the founder of HydroHarvest - a student-led initiative aiming to combat food insecurity through hydroponics. After witnessing the detrimental impact of fertilizer runoff on the Potomac River, Stella became determined to advocate for water quality and conservation. She is excited to engage her community in water conservation as a part of the Water Challenge Ambassador program. In her free time, she loves to garden and run.
