My name is Shriya, and I am a high school student from Melbourne, Florida, who is passionate about addressing PFAS contamination and stormwater runoff pollution in my community. Growing up near the Indian River Lagoon, I have witnessed the decline of our local waterways from a young age. I also founded Labs 4 Learning, an initiative that teaches students about water conservation through interactive STEM activities and hands-on lab kits. I am excited to join the Water Challenge Ambassadors Program so I can continue providing water-testing kits to students, expand opportunities for hands-on environmental education, and raise awareness about the issues affecting the Indian River Lagoon.
