Natalie Morales is an upcoming junior at Louisiana State University with a major in Natural Resource, Ecology, and Management. Her focus concentration is wetland science with a minor in wildlife ecology. Natalie grew up in the swamps of Louisiana along Bayou Manchac. She is currently working at LSU helping multiple research labs that study invertebrates, mussels, invasive carp, and native crayfish. Natalie truly loves being outdoors and helping the environment but when she’s not you can usually find her ether crafting or practicing martial arts. Natalie has been practicing multiple styles for 8 years now and earned the rank of second degree black belt in Choi Kawng Do. Her leadership and drive are some of her major attributes that she hopes they can be used in the future for the natural world.
