Marco Bertacchi is an Italian student who studies biology at the science biology University of Genoa. He’s always been passionate about the aquatic environment and its ecosystems. He was interested in this project because of the lack of charity that there is in Genoa, and his will to make a change.

While studying biology, he learned about the problems that affect the ocean and nature, in general. He learned about global warming, the pollution in the sea that has been affecting his own city, till now.

He got to know about this project because of his two sisters: They go to an international school that informed them about this project. Marco heard about it, and decided to take a chance with working with it.
