My name is Makhiah, and I am a high school sophomore from Clayton, North Carolina! Playing soccer is one of my passions, and I play defense for my club team. Additionally, I enjoy reading nonfiction and spending time outdoors in nature. I wanted to become a Water Challenge Ambassador to be surrounded by peers who have the same passion for the world around them, and to learn to create a resilient community by further protecting the Neuse River.
