Hi I'm Mackenzie! I'm originally from Charlotte, NC but I am currently a student at UNC Wilmington and I'm studying environmental science and marine biology! I have always had a love for the environment and the Wilmington area has allowed me to thrive and connect with environmental local non-profits. I am the current president of the UNCW chapter of the Surfrider Foundation and have had amazing opportunities to advocate with them for marine conservation. I hope to pursue a career in environmental law and policy and work to create a clean planet for everyone to enjoy. In my free time I love to swim, surf, scuba dive, and walk the Wrightsville Beach loop!
