Luciana is a youth climate advocate from Arequipa, Peru, working at the intersection of environmental justice and public policy, driven by the vision of building a more sustainable and equitable world.

She was a youth delegate at the United Nations Conference “Stockholm+50”, contributing to high-level dialogues as part of the Children and Youth Major Group. In 2023, she was selected to participate in the Pacific Alliance Volunteer Program in Colombia, contributing to the initiative “Agroecologies for Peace,” focused on sustainable rural development and community resilience.

Luciana served as Director of the South Region at LCOY Peru in 2023, supporting youth engagement in climate spaces nationwide. She participated in the 2025 Take Action Lab: Environment & Sustainability by Tilting Futures in Penang, Malaysia, where she deepened her understanding of sustainability and systems thinking. In 2026, as Marketing Coordinator at RUA UNSA, she designs communication strategies that translate complex environmental challenges into accessible narratives that inspire collective action.

As a High Seas Youth Ambassador, Luciana seeks to mobilize young people in Peru to defend marine ecosystems beyond national borders and turn awareness into sustained action.
