Isabella Allwood

Isabella Allwood is a young ocean conservation and shoreline community advocate from Queens, New York with a lifelong passion for marine science and environmental protection. Growing up snorkeling and exploring marine ecosystems, she developed a deep respect for the ocean from an early age.

Isabella studied film and media at Frank Sinatra School of the Arts and later pursued environmental science at LaGuardia Community College where she worked on various research projects in the Queens-Brooklyn area. She first began her fieldwork studying ribbed mollusks in Newtown Creek to contribute to local bioremediation efforts and later became a board member of Seawed City. Isabella aims to combine visual storytelling with marine science to raise awareness about ocean conservation and the impacts of climate change on coastal communities.
