Gwendolyn Gangolea is a 20-year-old environmental advocate from San Diego, California, and a junior at California State University Long Beach. Gwendolyn's dedication towards sustainability began after learning about the amount of consumption and waste is produced, especially in larger cities. This inspired Gwendolyn to join campus clubs that participate in spreading awareness, volunteering, and beach clean-ups as a way to get involved. Gwendolyn is notably invested in environmental awareness and hopes to propel individuals to take action amongst their own communities. As An EarthEcho Youth Ambassador, she aims to endorse climate literacy and sustainable action among both local and global communities and corporations. Aside from environmental work, Gwendolyn savors time going on hikes and spending time outside. She is looking forward to collaborating with other devoted individuals across the world to bring lasting changes.
