Eva Palacios
Eva Palacios is a junior at Westhill High School in Stamford, Connecticut, with a strong passion for marine biology and ocean conservation. Her interest began at a young age after visiting an aquarium in Boston, which inspired her to pursue hands-on environmental experiences. Through her involvement in FFA, Eva volunteers as a floor educator at The Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk, where she holds four different positions and helps educate visitors about marine life. She also is working on the ACP grant project with other teens to reduce single-use plastics by partnering with local restaurants and promoting the Stamp Me app to encourage sustainable choices. In addition, Eva volunteers as an assistant lab manager at her school’s marine lab, helping maintain tanks, test water quality, and care for aquatic species. As an EarthEcho Ambassador, Eva hopes to expand her knowledge, collaborate with other youth leaders, and advocate for ocean conservation in her community.
