Clara Coco
Clara Coco is a young environmental activist from Italy. She began her field work after meeting the NGO Worldrise. A dedicated ambassador with a deep passion for marine conservation, biodiversity, and the protection of natural ecosystems. Motivated by her awareness of the crucial importance of the oceans for life on Earth and the threats posed by human activity, she has actively promoted environmental protection and environmentally responsible behavior. She actively represents and promotes conservation principles for Worldrise (an NGO for the conservation of Italian seas) and RomaNatura (the Management Body of the Secche di Tor Paterno Marine Protected Area). Clara produces informational and awareness-raising videos to raise awareness of urgent environmental issues. She collaborates with the Aps Sottoalmare Association in coastal dolphin monitoring activities and in organizing educational workshops. She conducts outdoor environmental protection and conservation activities in collaboration with the Cosmofauna Association.
She collaborated with the GruppoFocaMonaca (Monk Seal Group) to disseminate guidelines and rules of conduct to be followed in the event of monk seal sightings. She actively promotes responsible and conscious behavior within and for the benefit of nature. Clara loves to repeat: "Go into nature! Only by knowing it will you become passionate about it and protect it."
