Angel Jean-Remy

Angel Jean-Remy is a 19-year-old sophomore at Stony Brook University studying marine vertebrate biology. She has had an immense passion for all things marine science-related since she was a child, with a particular interest in seagrass beds, coral reefs, and kelp forests. Her research history includes the impact of climate change on right whales and the effect of the pandemic on coral bleaching in the Caribbean. Angel is currently a Research Associate Technician for Billion Oyster Project, specializing in restoration field support. She's at her happiest when she's on a boat, and in her free time, she loves to paint, bake, and go beach-combing.
