Amarachukwu Obinna
Amarachukwu Obinna is a nursing student at Michigan State University. She is driven by a passion for public health, environmental justice, and youth leadership. Raised in a multicultural background, she developed an early understanding that the health of people and the health of the planet are deeply connected. She is actively involved in several organisations including Days for Girls International, the Black Student Nurses Association, the Global Young Leaders Network, and Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Related Sciences. She founded the Bloom Together initiative, which creates space for reflection, community, and student growth. Through leadership and service she works to turn awareness into action. As an EarthEcho Marine Plastics Ambassador she hopes to inspire young people to protect waterways, ecosystems, and the health of future generations.
