Hi! My name is Addy Teeters and I am from Bethesda, Maryland. A little about me is that I love playing the drums, volunteering in my community, ice skating, advocacy, and hanging out with my friends. I wanted to become a Water Challenge Ambassador because I’m very passionate about environmental sustainability and empowering my community through education and action especially. Clean water is essential to both human health and environmental stability, yet many people don’t realize how local water quality is directly impacted by their daily choices. I work with the Chesapeake Bay Foundation for this cause and wanted to expand my reach through this program. I hope to raise awareness about water issues, lead testing events in my community, and inspire young people to get involved in protecting our planet!
