Acadia Li

Acadia Li is a rising high school senior based in Vancouver, British Columbia, with a deep passion for ocean and wildlife conservation. She launched her own podcast, Ocean Frequencies, to raise awareness about pressing marine issues and worked alongside her peers to teach ocean literacy to local elementary schools, inspiring early youth advocacy. Acadia is continually driven to create meaningful change and expand her conservation knowledge through both learning and hands-on experience. Outside of her environmental work, she is a lifeguard, swim instructor, and avid outdoor enthusiast. In her spare time, she can be found camping, volunteering as a medical first responder, and reading novels. Joining as a Blue Carbon Ambassador, Acadia is excited to connect with like-minded individuals, deepen her understanding, and further explore her commitment to protecting our planet. She hopes to one day travel the world, immersing herself in diverse cultures and environments, all while contributing to global conservation efforts.
