Heiko Henning is currently the Chief Revenue Officer at Vision 2 Systems. In this role, Mr. Henning leads the business in driving its growth strategy, identifying market opportunity, collaborating with product management to define long-term product and solution portfolio, and identifying and executing targeted partnerships and channel relationships to achieve growth.
In particular, Mr. Henning aspires to apply these skills in working with non-profits and start-up technology companies that serve the non-profit market. Mr. Henning has been with Vision2 for the past 2 years. Prior to this he served in a number of executive roles at Blackbaud, including VP of Corp Strategy and Development, driving long-term strategy and growth including leading key acquisitions, Vice President of Marketing, overseeing all go-to-market activities, as well as Vice President of Enterprise Consulting. Prior to Blackbaud, he served as Director of Business Development for Trilogy Software’s New Markets in Austin, Texas, as well as Managing Partner of the Chicago office of Lante Corporation, a leading internet start-up consultancy. He also spent five years at the management consultancy McKinsey & Co, serving clients across industries on high-tech offering and technology strategy issues. Prior to McKinsey, Mr. Henning worked in product development and product management at a number of technology start-ups.
Mr. Henning’s experience cuts across business strategy and technology enablement. His focus is on applying new technologies, such as integrated marketing, social media, and cloud computing to driving organizational effectiveness and competitive differentiation. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a Master’s of Business Administration in Marketing and International Business Management from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
In his free time, Mr. Henning has volunteered for various non-profit organizations, including Habitat for Humanity, the ASPCA, the South Carolina Aquarium, and the Coastal Conservation League. He has a passion for the environment, digital photography, and kite boarding.
