What is the Youth Leadership Summit?

EarthEcho International’s Youth Leadership Summit annually unites young environmental leaders from around the world for two days of learning, networking, and collaboration with a focus on taking collective action to restore and protect our ocean planet. 

Who can participate?

The EarthEcho Youth Leadership Summit is open to any young people ages 13-25 from around the world.

Is there a cost?

No. The EarthEcho Youth Leadership Summit is free to all youth ages 13-25. Pre-registration is required to participate.

How do I register?

Participants can register for the EarthEcho Youth Leadership Summit by completing the registration form and photo/video release at: www.earthecho.org/youth-summit by August 3, 2022.

What do I need to participate?

All sessions for the EarthEcho Youth Leadership Summit will be hosted virtually using Accelevents. All participants must pre-register for the event in order to access the platform. Participants will need a computer/tablet with internet access. Access to a webcam/microphone will enhance the event experience and allow for additional interaction with fellow Summit participants. The Accelevents platform will allow participants to connect and meet with other attendees, join various sessions, participate in chats, enter networking sessions, and a lot more! Please note that Chrome is the preferred platform browser, however, when using an iPhone or an iPad, Safari might work better.

I'm registered for the Summit, now what?  

All sessions for the EarthEcho Youth Leadership Summit will be hosted virtually using Accelevents. Once you are registered, you will be able to view the Summit agenda and choose the sessions you wish to participate in. Can I give a presentation at the Youth Leadership Summit?

The Youth Leadership Summit provides a forum for young ocean advocates worldwide to share innovative ideas, lessons learned, and strategies to protect our ocean planet. Participants are invited to submit to present at the Summit by completing this application form by July 10, 2022.

Can I earn community service hours for participating in the Summit?

EarthEcho International is able to sign-off on volunteer/community service hours for your active participation in the Summit and associated activities. To request verification, please contact summit@earthecho.org.
