Allen is a school teacher who have lived and worked in London all of his life. Before becoming a teacher, he was an Administrator for a Government Department for nearly 24 years. During that time, he oversaw the technological transformation of the workplace from standalone monochrome PCs using floppy disk drives to backup data to the installation of an 8,500 terminal connections Wide Area Network. Allen has been a teacher since 2012 and became Head of Computer Science at the schools he works for in September 2020. He is passionate about using technology for teaching and learning across all school subjects.

Announcing the 2022 OceanEcho 30x30 Fellows! Through this experience, six young leaders will receive training and support to lead impactful campaigns advancing community-led marine protected areas and the 30x30 goal in the US.
