OurEcho Challenge - UK Team Entry Form
The entry submission deadline for the OurEcho Challenge is 23:59 BST on Friday, April 26, 2024.
The OurEcho Challenge is a STEM contest that empowers young change makers to take a closer look at biodiversity in their communities. Young leaders will first identify threats to local ecosystems and then submit an idea to help protect and restore those natural resources.
Young leaders, ages 13-16, are encouraged to work in teams of 1-3. Given the age of pupils, each team member MUST submit a completed Guardian Consent Form with their entry. We also encourage teams to work with an adult mentor to help support their project. Mentors can be traditional teachers, parents, homeschool instructors, and/or adult facilitators of more informal learning environments. The OurEcho Challenge is offered only within the United Kingdom.
The following entry form must be completed in a single session and partially completed entry forms cannot be saved for later. It is recommended that you review the entry form and all materials first, then gather your entry materials on your computer to complete and submit the entry form. A paper and electronic version of the entry form can be found here. All team members require a permission form signed by their legal guardian to be uploaded with their entry. In order to ensure that teams are meeting the basic requirements for a qualifying entry, we encourage you to use the Project Planning Worksheet, Challenge Checklist & Winning Tips and review the Terms & Conditions prior to hitting "submit."
NOTE: Do not include any bulleted or numbered lists in your narrative entry.
ALL ENTRIES MUST BE SUBMITTED BY APRIL 26, 2024, 23:59 BST.
EACH ENTRY MUST INCLUDE COMPLETED GUARDIAN PERMISSION FORMS FOR EACH TEAM MEMBER.
Up to 10 finalist teams will be chosen and notified in May 2024.
