Tarin Fung

Senior Water Challenge Ambassador

Tarin Fung is a high school freshman who has a strong passion for marine science and environmental stewardship. Tarin is a certified open water scuba diver and loves being on his swim club in Brooklyn. Tarin has worked on various water conservation projects in the Gowanus Lowlands in New York City and recently represented his school in the Gowanus Blue Schools Design Challenge. Tarin has also volunteered with NYC Parks to count and tag horseshoe crabs to determine and manage their conservation, a key to preserving marine history of this ancient species.
