Selina Zou is a rising high school senior from Washington interested in environmental science, specifically in relation to water issues. She has pursued research projects in analyzing water quality and developing bioplastics to address plastic pollution in oceans. She is also involved with a nonprofit, Youth Hand in Hand, for which she teaches environmental science courses to students. She is very glad to have the opportunity of working with EarthEcho in raising awareness of the importance of protecting local waterways.
