Caroline Crowley

EarthEcho Water Challenge Ambassador

Medford, MA

Caroline Crowley is a 16-year-old high school junior from Medford, Massachusetts. As an avid rower, she has observed firsthand the impacts of pollution on waterways and coastlines around Greater Boston. When she’s not in the middle of a regatta, she leads park and beach cleanups for her school’s Environmental Club, tends an organic vegetable garden, and volunteers at local science museums to support STEAM engagements. She also pursues educational opportunities centered around water science through Ocean Protection Advocacy Kids (OPAK), the New England Aquarium, and MIT. An aspiring environmental advocate, she uses free time to write blog posts and op-eds spotlighting important water conservation issues. Turbidity and pH meters in hand, she has tackled water quality investigations since middle school and looks forward to a career that incorporates marine science, economics, and public policy.
