My name is Pete and I became interested in the ocean studies at a young age watching all the diving documentaries. I studied oceanography and marine biology in high school and some college, and also a certified diver. I live by the beach and I see on a daily bases the debris that is being washed ashore. I try to clean up the small beach area near my home as often as possible.
