LIVE Webcast Events
Interactive
Web-broadcast learning events focus on the complexities of conducting project work
in the field. Science-focused interactive sessions examine the observational nature
of science and challenges associated with field-based research. Communications-focused
sessions address the challenges of documenting and communicating scientific findings
and their societal implications in ways that are compelling and accessible to the
public. Through a live Web feed, students have the opportunity to interact with
and parallel the work of professionals from the fields of science and communications
while they are on location. Lesson materials may be available to prepare for and
extend the live web broadcast event in which students will have the opportunity
to ask questions and reflect on what they’ve seen LIVE with EarthEcho team members.
