Project History and Collaborations : American Film Institute's Digital Content Laboratory

In 2008, EarthEcho International was selected to participate in the American Film Institute's Digital Content Laboratory. EarthEcho is among only five nonprofits to be accepted into the Lab over its 10-year history. In this prestigious R&D program, EarthEcho was paired with design and technology experts to incubate a new digital gaming device using new mobile technologies. Out of the 9-month R&D process with the AFI DCL, came an amazing project that we are launching over the next month.
