Affiliated Programs
Through various collaborations and the media work of Philippe, Jan, and Alexandra Cousteau, EarthEcho International is affiliated with several exciting new programs that vary from television documentaries to pioneering animated simulator games. While not direct programs of EarthEcho International, they share our values and involve us in various ways.
Television
Philippe Cousteau is the chief ocean correspondent for Animal Planet. Philippe will bring EarthEcho's message of ocean stewardship to a mass public audience through several ocean adventure shows that will air next year.
In January, 2007, Animal Planet aired the documentary on the ocean's deadliest animals that he was filming with Steve Irwin at the time of his tragic death.

Radio
Through audio explorations reminiscent of the rich radio dramas of a bygone era, listeners will join Philippe Cousteau as he conducts a series of radio expeditions that will be aired on "Living on Earth" on National Public Radio. The first episode focuses on the manatees of Blue Spring in Florida. Philippe returns to the spring 25 years after his father and grandfather documented the plight of these gentle herbivores to learn why the manatees that thrive in its outflow are now imperiled by it. In doing so, he learns how these endangered and lovable sea cows face a growing gauntlet of man-made dangers that threaten their very existence.
Simulation
Wild Earth: Deep Ocean Safari offers a relevant way to reach a whole new generation of learners. The use of cutting-edge technology, such as video gaming, to bring across a conservation message in a way that both inspires and entertains is critical to conservation education in the 21st century. EarthEcho has worked with EnTCo and NOAA's National Marine Sanctuary Program to create an exciting, interactive experience that engages people and is at the forefront of environmental education.
