EarthEcho is so excited about the excellent youth video submissions for Seventh Generation Foundation’s Campaign for a Toxin-Free Generation and we know there are more coming very soon. We want to feature as many young people making “Toxin-Free” choices as possible, though, so we have extended the contest deadline until May 31, 2013. Sean Russell, Stow It-Don’t Throw It
Sean Russell is the Project Director for the Stow It-Don’t Throw It Project, a youth-driven marine debris prevention and ocean conservation initiative dedicated to protecting marine environments and their inhabitants. In 2012 alone, Stow It-Don’t Throw It assembled and distributed 2,565 personal-sized monofilament fishing line recycling containers, made from repurposed tennis ball containers, activating 550 youth volunteers in the process.
