6 Equipment

Many of you have been asking what equipment am I using? I thought I would highlight the underwater photography equipment and provide couple resources if you are interested in learning more.

Underwater Equipment

Underwater Photography

Sea&Sea Housing for the Nikon D200 - Wide angle and macro ports for 10.5mm, 12-24mm, 60mm, and 105mm lens - YS-90 Auto Strobes
TTL converter

Underwater Video

Sea&Sea Video Housing for Sony TRV950 - Sea&Sea LX-HID 30 Lightsseaandsea_logo.jpg

I would like to give an unsolicited review of Sea&Sea’s equipment. I have been diving and working in the remote islands off of Malaysia for the past year on my Fulbright Fellowship. I have found both the video and photography equipment to perform well. Additionally, I have found the customer service at Sea&Sea to be helpful and I will continue to use their equipment.

Before planning a big trip, I consulted with Fred Dion at Underwater PhotoTech. He is extremely knowledgeable about camera equipment and underwater housings and can fix just about anything. I buy most of my equipment from him and have known him for just under 10 years as a member of the Boston Sea Rovers.
