The EarthEcho Corporate Advisory Board members look at the broad swath of issues influencing young people and helps us develop long-term strategies to give young people the skills and knowledge they need to be successful students, effective employees and skillful advocates for our water planet.
EarthEcho is at the forefront of combining interactive media and sound educational approaches to engage large numbers of young people in the protection of our water planet. By jointly exploring business and societal trends from a variety of perspectives, Advisory Board members gain new understandings that enable them to adapt to societal changes and address challenges in a wholly unique and revolutionary manner.
The EarthEcho Corporate Advisory Board is an invitation-only membership organization with members who are executives from a range of corporations. Members of the Corporate Advisory Board serve a wide variety of corporate functions – sustainability, public relations, marketing, philanthropy, human relations, management and supply chain development – who are influencers within their organizations.
The Corporate Advisory Board was founded in 2010 with support from Toyota. In 2011 Areva, the State Farm Insurance Company, Participant Media, the Chesapeake Bay Roasting Company, and H2O Plus joined the Board adding to the diversity of viewpoints in the discussion.
Over the next five years EarthEcho will expand its reach to engage 1 million young people a year, the Corporate Advisory Board will play a crucial role in this process. In 2012 the Corporate Advisory Board is focusing on the relationship between youth engagement in environmental decision-making and their preparation to participate in the workforce. The Corporate Advisory Board will meet one time in person and participate in two virtual meetings. The results of those discussions will be available via our website and drive the development of EarthEcho’s next generation of programming.
EarthEcho International wishes to thank its 2011 Corporate Advisory Board:
