Board of Directors

Michael Rebibo is the owner and founder of 1st Portfolio, Inc. He has been in the financial services industry since 1988 where he has worked in both the financial planning and banking industries. A co-founder of Access National Corporation, a NASDAQ (ANCX) listed bank holding company, Mr. Rebibo served as President and CEO of Access National Mortgage and as Senior Vice President of Access National Bank. Prior to forming Access National, Mr. Rebibo served as President and CEO of Financial Security Corporation, a fee-only financial planning firm.

Mr. Rebibo serves on several Boards of Directors and committees for non-profit organizations such as Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts, the Shenandoah National Park Trust, Brain Injury Services, Inc., and the Survivors Fund Distribution Committee, a group established to approve the distribution of funds collected for the September 11th terrorist attack on the Pentagon. In addition, he is a past chairman of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) of the National Capital Area.

Mr. Rebibo is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®). He holds an MBA in Finance from George Washington University and a BA in Finance from James Madison University.
